I love my AP, but having AP popularized by this lowlife does not encourage me to get more of them. I do love the brand, but it's frustrating to see such a classic brand, that symbolizes horological perfection, style, precision being used by some rapper to talk about his trash lifestyle.
I will be getting more APs in the future, but I hope that AP tries to distance itself from these associations. |

I don't think AP could stop those people from buying their watches, they are not their ambassador. Haha

You can't stop a certain type or group of people from buying a brand. All major brands have customers or fans from all ranges of backgrounds. Luxury will attract money whether new money or old money.
Now if you wear it with class is another thing. |

But I am more referring to sponsoring them, AP sponsors plenty of sporting celebrities, I just hope they don't start sponsoring Rappers |

I mean people who encourage crime, degrade women, popularize drug and alcohol abuse. Good people that you would want your daughter to date.

Ok... For future reference please note that there are many folks within Rock & Roll, Folk, Country, Pop, etc. who popularize the same things you and I both detest, it's not just rappers as you stated. I am certain that if you actually got to speak to a performing artist you would see that what's on TV is not what is in fact real life... Thanks for your clarification...

There's lots of Audemar references in rap songs...Rick Ross has an album named Audemars Piguet...lol
I was flipping through the channels last night and I think Nick Cannon was wearing a 15400 as he was hosting America got talent. |

That was a terrible song, my ears actually hurt now. No wonder he isn't making music anymore and just hanging with Floyd M.

I've heard worse, and Fiddy's flow is decent, so I'm not sure where the hate is coming from.
As for rappers and AP, who cares? It's not like y'all are gonna be seeing these guys at your respective country clubs or GOP fundraisers, so who cares? Regards, Adam |

fair enough everyone is entiltled to there opinion, what if you look at 50 cent as a buisness man as opposed to a rapper. his own record label
books, took shares instead of being paid to promote vitamin water then when the company was sold made over $400 million, clothing line, aftershave movies film production company energy shot that helps feed people in starving countries with the profit god knows what over pies he has his fingers in, and all this from someone who was selling crack 10 years ago, you have to admire the guy!!! |

I'm no 50 cent fan, but he can rap about whatever he wants. Jay-Z has his own AP and he is bigger than Elvis.
