Hey You Mac Guys!
Why can't we have a nice Rolex Watch Clock on our desktop like all the cool pc guys?
I can offer tons encouragement, but have no idea how to do it.

Anyway, Leopard does look very interesting. Also not bad for AUD$158 for a new operating system. |

As far as desktops go, for the same money as a mac a pc can be more stable, twice as powerful, and you can play 100+ more games, and use 1000+ more software applications. Don't get me wrong, my next laptop will be a mac. I guess the Mac vs PC debate is must akin to Rolex vs Omega vs Patek vs Casio. They are all different. Many will think one is better then the other when in reality they just serve different purposes. |

I bought into the "hype" many many years ago. Have not had a PC in a long time nor would I go back. |

Well let me know what part of it you're struggling with and I'll try to help. It literally takes like two minutes - I don't mean that to sound like you're a dumbass, just that it should be pretty straightforward.

Would someone mind PM'ing me the details to install a flash based Rolex on my desktop? So far I'm only using the screensaver I downloaded from the rolex.com site. Thanks for the flash/movie link already, Prince.
Thanks in advance |

Are you on a Mac, and do you want to use the FLASH file I linked? I can PM you with the instructions, but you will have to download a screensaver module (shareware) and PAY the shareware fee to get the "desktop" functionality and not just the screensaver option. Let me know...

This gives me the idea for a rolex desktop widget. Shouldn't be much trouble to reskin the clock they provide...
Now just gotta find the time to do it. :) --nw |

It's Friday in Australia, right?
So has anyone installed Leopard yet? I'll be standing in line tomorrow.

Still Thursday here in good old blighty but in my inbox this AM is an email from Apple telling me that the Leopard Family Pack I ordered has shipped, so I guess it'll be here tomorrow morning. Already 100% backed up so I'll be slinging the DVD in whilst I take the dog for a walk, and come back to a new OS I hope.

Got the Leopard. Had to install twice before it would restart properly. I called Apple and learned a trick if anyone has a problem with it.
