Is this a real GMT II Coke insert?

Hi, is this a real GMT II Coke insert?

Why is the '2' font looks different compare to the '22' font?

You can buy a new one cheaper at an authorized dealer I really don't understand why you would bother with a used insert on a non vintage watch, you can still get inserts from Rolex AD for about 100 dollars last I checked new for that model. If its a vintage one that's another matter if no longer available in its original form. Regards.

Really, for $100? I've seen them go for $230 for a new insert from AD.

Maybe I'm just lucky but my watchmaker has a Rolex parts account and a new Root Beer insert was $60. The AD may be marking up by 2.5?

as stated they are a little piece of aluminium they are less than 100 dollars new when i last bought one about 1 years ago, it cant have gone up that much, choose a watchmaker with a rolex parts account or maybe another AD, as the insert must be flawed in some way that is why it was replaced, if it was perfect why would you replace it, this part is still available as your watch is not that old, go for a new one, no authenticity question and in perfect condition
