Equipment question
Yesterday evening, I received my new submariner 1680 from Jaced and am ecstatic about it. Pictures will follow as soon as possible. However, before I can wear it, I would like to adjust the length of the barcelet at the clasp.
I was wondering if anybody has a recommendation where to get the correct tool to push the pin out. Probably, I could take anything that has the right size. However, I rather use the right tool for it and I am not sure how it is called. Is there anything with rubber coating in order to avoid scratches or is the only option to put tape around the area? Thanks, Boris |

Hi Boris,
Welcome to the Forum. Nice choice from J. There are some threads on the Forum that describe methods for removing the bracelet. Have a search around and you will find some great information. This one from Larry will give you a good idea of how to remove the bracelet if you need to and you can use this guide for similar adjustments to bracelet length. https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...acelet+removal Some threads on bracelet resizing. https://www.rolexforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=30 Then there is Amateur Watchmakers Corner. https://www.rolexforums.com/forumdisplay.php?f=22

Thanks a lot for the links. I ordered the Bergeon 6825-PF and 6111. Maybe an overkill, but now I am hopefully equipped to change and adjust my bracelets at anytime.
Thanks, Boris |
