Should the crown just pull out?

Hi guys,
Hopefully not too dumb a question...but should the crown/winder simply pull out?

I was just changing the time on my TT sub and found it hard to pull out to the second click...added a little force and the entire thing just pulled out...

Should this happen?

Probably did the wrong thing...but I put it back in again and was able to change time and date etc and appears to be working okay...

Your advice would be really appreciated.

Sorry, should have searched before posting...but was in a bit of a panic...and have just found some other similar posts...

But have I done anything wrong by putting the stem back in?

Regards,

Ian

It pulled out more then 2 position?? I think the keyless might be broken, best to get it looked at or send it to RSC.

Needs to be looked at. Keep away from water.

The set screw that holds the set lever in place that holds the stem in place either backed off or broke. Easy fix if it just backed off if broken hands dial calendar disc set bridge need to be removed. On movement side auto bridge barrel bridge also have to be removed to replace broken set lever as well if broken threads don't come out of set lever in a nut shell bring it to a professional. Rikki
