Icon20 I just got this is it the real deal?

Hi I have not opened the back yet but from the dial and case can it be real 1959 Rolex precision, it has a black jewel stem, seems the hands are corect anyway!


ANY HELP WOULD BE NICE!

Here is a pic from what it should look like.

Just be careful, as the crown [ Winding crown, as it appears to have a stone or something like this in it, like Cartier, but I'm unaware on Rolex ever doing this] looks a bit odd and the dial isn't signed, as well as the thickness on Numerals.

dial redone? looks like same crown with stone added?

so if redone dial and stone added, if movement and case correct with movement is it worth much?

Uhh, this is a hard one, down here I wouldn't pay more than a few hundred for it, but I'm not familiar with the international market on this model.

That's a Big "If" with that piece. Unfortunately when folks start doing things like
refinishing and adding things the movement and case are usually worked over as well.

Time to pop that back case cover and reveal what's behind door #2.
