Boy sized Rolex DJ

Please share your views on boy-sized Date Just for ladies.

Is it still considered as the classic Rolex watches, like the Sub, DJ, etc?

Interesting thread.

I was at the Rolex AD over the weekend with my sister and she indicated her preference for the 36mm and not the traditional ladies sized DJ.

Are you talking about the 26mm lady datejust? That would be considered the "traditional" size. Did she look at the 31mm?

She compared the lady DJ against a bigger one - I think it is the 26mm vs 31mm

She said she prefers the 31mm DJ and will buy that after doing some looking around.

i am just curious whether 31mm commands the same resale as 26mm. Not that she is a flipper but I am just curious.

In general none of the ladies say 26mm, 31mm or the boy sized 34mm will hold there price as well as say a 36mm DJ.Now there are the ladies Yachtmaster 29mm and a mid size 34mm which they class as 35mm.Now in the ladies size watches they seem to hold there price a little better.

I didn't know ladies' rolex come in so many sizes!
In short, ladies sized watches resale are not as good as the men's but it is getting better...

ok, i will tell my sister to go forth and just buy since there is not much difference unless she wants to wear a men sized watch which i know she has no intention of doing. She is a petite lady.

Really in today's world, 34mm-40mm is what you can get away with as a guy. The large-watch faction is slowly being conquered thankfully. Until ultimate victory, stay within this range.

My wife wears a 31mm but I would not say she has a petite build. A 36mm DJ actually looks fabulous on her. The folks doing the "horsetrading" in watches are usually (but not always!!) men who are inclined to buy 36mm+ watches. 31mm and smaller tend to suffer in resale for lack of demand.
