Submariner!

How many can say "I've been deeper than my Rolex Sub can go?"

I'm SOOO lovin' my new "Z" TT Blue sub!

Have I waited a LONGGGG time?

Went to sub school, New London in 1962. Earned dolphins on four submarines during the "cold war", have over 3 1/2 years UNDERWATER.

Bluenose SIX times!

Golden Shellback!

Certified US Navy diver, job description:

Underwater Explosive Ordnance Delivery Specialist.

and NEVER had, but always wanted a Rolex Sub!

Now, this one is mine!

Q. Does owning, wearing, a Rolex change your personality?

Congratulations. You earned it.

If you buy it for yourself, then you will not change. If you buy it to impress others, you already have.

Sub School in 1962? OMG! Was Noah in your class? Now I don't feel so old anymore. Enjoy the sub, wear it in good health. DIVE!

What a great watch.

If you've been on a Sub, I think you're morally obligated to have one of those bad-boys. And, if you're a Naval Academy grad, you should have that TT Blue one.

Is that why they call you "watchnut"?

I'm beginning to think so, JJ! I went for many, many years wanting a Rolex but unwilling to pull the trigger for one. Now I'm working on three this year alone. I'm afraid I'm going to have to become a "flipper". I realize I'm in the presence of greatness when talking to you!

great watch!

My first post here, and glad to chime in on this one.

Thank you for your service to the country. I was an EW in the Navy early 80s.

Great watch, and you certainly deserve it! Go Navy!

I served on USS Greenfish SS-351, USS Casimir Pulaski SSBN-633 (Blue, Plankowner), USS Sailfish SS-572, USS Henry L. Stimson SSBN-655 (Blue).

Polaris missile subs were manned by two crews alternating every four months, Blue and Gold.

I was enlisted, silver dolphins. Why I like the TT Blue sub. Blue/Gold/Silver.

Stephen, congradulations on a beautiful Sub, and add my thanks for your service as well as the other guys' adventurous hard work. Ya'll did us proud!

No, I don't think a watch, even a superb Rolex or other brand, can change the personality of the owner (provided its balanced in the first place, unlike me). I think the personality determines the type of watch, just like what kind of house, clothes, cars, motorcyces we wind up with. There's plenty of overpriced watches out there for those more concerned with showing off status and money than taste and personal discernment. A TT Blue Sub speaks volumes, and excellent taste! Enjoy it in great health!
