Explorer II 42mm - Pics of my new baby

I just wanted to post up some pics of my new watch. Sorry if the quality is not the best, I had to use my phone to take them. A couple of lume shots I took this morning while having breakfast and a regular light wrist shot. It's been around 10 days now and I have checked the time, probably 100,000 times. People must think I have OCD.
Hope you enjoy the pics. I went to the AD yesterday to pick up a shopping voucher they threw in while I was buying my watch, they had 1 black and 0 whites left in store (I picked mine from 2 they had in stock 10 days ago). She said they only get issued sports watches by Rolex based on the number of non sports watches they sell. They had met their quota so they would be getting another couple soon. I thought that was interesting.
She also commented that it seemed like most of the western people coming into to buy one bought the Polar version while the Asian people mostly went for the black dial.

@ Blackout, No regrets at all. Loving the watch.

It will be an imagination Christmas this year.... haha, no, just kidding.
All is good. I have been checking the accuracy against my computer clock for a few days and things seemed pretty good but not great so I decided to use the USNO master clock website having read about it here and it seems much more accurate, although it will only be 24 hours in about 3 hours. So far, almost spot on, maybe half a second or a second out.
As a matter of interest, would the clock on your computer not be fairly accurate or does it adjust itself a lot by seconds throughout a day?

Great watch. I too habitually check my watch, nothing wrong with you or me. We just like to watch time on our watch.

Great Rolex!

My SS Daytona and 14060M don't get much wrist time after having bought the Explorer II 216570...

The clock on your computer is junk. Set your watch to www.time.gov and then you can really track it's accuracy.

I did this and after 10 days it is still spot-on, down to the second! Most precise watch I've ever owned. My Daytona is a close second at -.25 sec/day.

Great watch.

How about the size of the minute hand (too big), colour of the second hour hand and writing of "Explorer II" (orange).

I lived with this watch for a couple of weeks, and while the quality is an upgrade on the previous model (esp re bracelet obviously) I just thought that it lacked the same classy looks typical of current and previous other models.

@ Acarriles: Thanks Man, I appreciate the advice. I set it to the USNO Master Clock time yesterday at 13:12pm and checked it today and it was bang-on to the second I reckon. It was a little hard to check both the screen and watch at the exact second but I think it was perfect. I will check it everyday now for at least a week.
