I say fake, too.
I think a better picture would be helpful, but it still looks really, really bad.

The lume plots are all wrong.
The laser etching on the rehaut looks off. The coronet on the dial is wrong. The hands are a mess. This is a real Explorer II.

What a China piece of JUNK. One quick way to tell is the orange 24-hr hand: on an authentic Explorer II the orange hand is is mounted in the middle, or between the hour and minute hand.

What's the point of your post?
Do you want to know if its fake or do you want to know if we know its a fake. Open up the case and and there's your answer...

I'm new to Rolex and new to the world of spotting fakes...but getting up to speed quickly and enjoying it. Would I be right in saying that the Crown Guards are off? They look to be cutting across the crown?

Based on his username, I'd guess he's in business fixing the crappy lume on fakes. Sorry but that's a crappy way to make money Relumer.
