PAM 526 - a better YachtMaster II?
i get the feeling that the 526 has slipped through the cracks a bit during the initial (overly harsh) reaction to SIHH 2013.
a completely new and in-house flyback chrono regatta movement by OP is pretty interesting, IMO, and at $11,800, the price seems reasonable (especially in comparison to a YM-II). at least to me, the mechanism seems pretty straight-forward and i quite like the design/color scheme, too. "How the Regatta Timer and Flyback Chrono work:(source: click here). "The flange carries the scale of up to 15 minutes for the countdown to the start, with the five final minutes picked out in orange, and also the tachymeter scale expressed in knots, enabling the speed of the yacht to be measured over a defined distance." |

Not only asthetically, but functionally it looks easier to operate as well.

thanks for all the replies. keep voting, y'all!
the difference in voting between the panerai board and the rolex board is really extreme at this point. |
