CLASSIC! - Postal Service says it’s immune from local traffic laws

What a well written response to a letter received asserting immunity to local traffic laws....

Um, somethings wrong here:

“My last and favorite example is of the USPS truck driver delivering mail while naked,”

They should take a look at how the UPS & FedEx drivers park as well. They will double park on a narrow street even when there is plenty of room 25 feet further up the road.

This is bs. Every city in the USA is relying more and more on parking tickets and speed limits for financial support. This has become a tax. The USPS can't find and plug meters to deliver the mail. This is a joke. I don't blame them one bit for blowing these taxes off. These postal trucks are not "registered" vehicles with the state DMV. What's next excise and registration taxes for USPS trucks? State sales taxes on stamps? Enough is enough.

While I certainly am a believer in Postal Service employees being held accountable to the law - I truly despise ATS.

They are blood sucking leeches.

So, if they don't have to follow traffic laws, why the hell do they take so frigging long?
