Rikki is the man!
First I would like to formally introduce my self, I am Chris and new to the forums. I have been doing a lot of research on this site and recently acquired
my first Rolex. I purchased a Z serial Submariner No date and not know its history and just passing the 6 year mark, I want to get it serviced and polish out some small gouges that it had on the case from the previous owner. After a lot of back and forth between who I wanted to have service the watch RSC Dallas vs Rikki, I took the plunge and contacted Rik. He promptly return my call and we chatted a bit and 20 mins later my watch was in the mail on the way to Florida! I was a bit skeptical sending a pricey item like this to a complete stranger, but after reading the many reviews on the forum and many mentions on another watch forum I knew I was in great hands. I received a call from Rik the same day he received the watch as to what it required and he promptly began the process of refurbishing my watch. To my surprise the watch showed up at my office today and was I in shock! The attention to detail in the case work and overall watch performance was outstanding! I now know in the next 5-7 years when I need servicing again who will be getting my watch! |

Rikki is an outstanding watchmaker and a great human being, having had a good chat with him a few months ago I can only smile thinking that he made yet another happy Rolex owner.
Glad to know you decided to send your watch to him!

Rik is the man!! No doubt about it, can't say enough about his more than reasonable prices and his quick turnaround time!!
Proof is in the pudding!!!

Good deal!
Agree with your decision for the routine service by a great watchmaker. Not only did you get a great result you prolly saved up to half the cost of an RSC job. I am lucky to have a great certified watchmaker locally so I can just drive 10 minutes and save $$$, too. I'm not negative to the RSC's, but I do think their cost is greater than the benefit derived by customers. The 2 yr. warranty is a plus, but you usually get a 1 yr. warranty from an indie watchmaker.
