I was reading on the forums how a lot of people use scrubbing bubbles on their Rolexes.

Would it be safe for WG? The reason why I'm asking is that I'm assuming that they use Scrubbing Bubbles on their SS Rolexes, and that SS is tougher than gold.

I'm worried it may be too "strong" for gold.

What's wrong with water and a mild soap? I'd go with what Rolex recommends and common sense.

Seems to be a fairly strong solution...

Just use hand soap and lukewarm water.

WG will be fine, but what about the rubber seals...? Why risk it...

Vereat cleaner is the best for me....Love their blue drying cloths and microfiber cloths as well!

Scrubbing bubbles? The toxic bathroom cleaner? No way would I use that on gold or ss.

I would think Lysol is pretty toxic in its on right. I wouldn't use that on my jewelry (and I try to treat my watches like jewelry)

Absolutely agreed. The outside part is jewelry and I wouldn't want to mix the jewelry cleaner part with the function part inside :-).

Vaeret for me, but I'd use Dawn dish soap if needed. If Dawn is good for all those oil-slick-covered birds and otters, then it's safe enough for my Rolex!

No way! Soap (I prefer using baby's liquid bath soap) & warm water will suffice.
