SkyDwellar Owners - The Moment is Here !

I am so envious of you SkyDwellar owners, with Feb 28 turning into March 1 and no date to have to advance manually in the morning. By far the coolest day of the year for a perpetual calendar.

I have one Perpetual Calendar - a Citizen Eco-Drive beater - but all my others will require some time tomorrow morning.

If any SkyDwellers owners happen to be up at Midnight, sure would be awesome if you could grab a video of the grand moment and post it here for all to see !

I can lend you one of my Patek PC's Sam my man if you are extra careful with it.

Hopefully one day in our lifetime sir!

I am just as slightly dissapointed as you my friend! The date will roll to 29 and I will manually have to adjust my watch to March 1...

That would be a dream! Hopefully one day when we meet I will get to witness the dream of a true gentlemans timepiece!

I thought an annual calendar would take care of 30-31-28 months and a perpetual calendar would go a step further and include leap years as well. Looks like I am wrong...

Don't worry it's ok... It's still a fun timepiece!

No, it correctly flips dates on every month except February and leap years.

MMhhh... interesting. Just yesterday I took the time to fully understand how a mechanical watch works, sadly though, the tutorial did not include complications! However, I thought that including the 28 in the sequence was not a super big deal but I am evidently wrong.

So, out of curiosity February would go to 30 or 31 if you don't touch the watch?

Still, what an awesome piece the SkyD is..

It's called annual because it only needs adjustment once per year

Well, I guess the OP still has a point then... this is virtually the only day of the year when a Sky Dweller owner needs to fiddle with his watch...

I'm not a hardcore WIS, so I'll cop to the fact that I did no know this.

Well I'm wearing my 1680 Red Sub tomorrow, so I will have quite a bit of winding to do.

I'm wearing my 116200 tonight, so I just changed the date to the 31st, not that it will make a lot of difference, as I plan to pick up the 14060M tomorrow and wear it for a week or two.

Just adjusted the date on my datejust, for three days, and it completely exhausted me. Won't be able to take my 20 mile bike ride or go to the gym today. Hope the exhaustion will not last through the week end. Don't ever want to have to go through this again. May have to consider getting a sky dweller!

All I can say I'm glad I have a single quick set DD for Feb. I don't how you set the DD without a single or double set.

Will be cool to have a perpectual calendar watch. I have to re-set and re-adjust the date on all my 5 watches today.

Don't have a Sky-Dweller and probably never will. Have to say however, thanks to quickset function on my DJ and the hour jump function on my EXPII, both were date corrected by me in less than 60 seconds total. Gotta love Rolex!
