Horology Documentary
hey, don't know if this has been mentioned before, but there's currently a kickstarter project for a documentary about the history of time keeping.
http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...-a-documentary i've already made my pledge. i've been waiting for something like this for a long time. i hope this sort of thing turns into a series of movies all about the different facets of time keeping, and not just a general overview. |

The best recent book I've read on the importance of horology was "Longitude: The True Story of a Lone Genius Who Solved the Greatest Scientific Problem of His Time"
