Please help me select between these 2. AP Or Hublot

Help me choose between these 2.

The new Hublot Unico is very special. its 45mm diameter, 72 hours power reserve, IN HOUSE movement and FLYBACK CHRONOGRAPH. I love the Flyback chronograph!
We can see the circulation of the date due to the skeleton. In house with skeleton design is impressive, because we can see the movement! Most rolex watch have good movement but due to close caseback we can't see the movement, its like imagine a gold inside the earth while we can't see the gold itself

Its a real stunner, masculine, creative, innovative and powerful

On the otherside, this AP Millenary is real unique, most people go for classic royal oak or ROO. This AP has creative dial, classic and elegance.

For the price, I think hublot is a bit higher.

FYI already have rolex yachtmaster 2 all gold and GMT.

This time is for AP or Hublot.

What are your thought? thank you

Not a fan of the Hublot. It looks like a cross between a ROO with a bit of Nautilus. For the kind of money I don't want any kind of homage.

I'd go AP.

Might be my OCD, but can't get past the case screws on Hublot not being symmetrically aligned like the RO.

the AP is more pleasing, interesting, and fits a dressier watch gap in your collection

I didn't need to see pictures.

As much as you like the Hublots, the AP plays in another league

So if you want the most interesting 'haute horlogerie' watch the AP is the best NO DISCUSSION

I hate hate hate Hublot. I'm not sure if I'd rather get kicked in the testicles or wear that Hublot watch. You'd have to go far far far down the line from AP to find something that I might not chose over Hublot!

All of those watches > Hublot, for one reason - they don't use "bang" in any of their watch names. Hublot has, without a doubt, the shittiest names in all of horology.

I respect Biver for what he did at Omega and Blancpain, but Hublot?

You are right - perhaps I was a bit harsh.

Having said that he Hyundai Equus does come standard with an iPad as an owners manual though while still being totally derivative at the same time. I actually like it but it's not at the same level as a top shelf luxury cars.

All in fun - most people wouldn't know the difference between an AP and an Invicta any event.

It's really just for crazy people such as ourselves.

Thank you for the reply, I appreciate you all.

I know people are hating hublot here, but actually i love it.

The best answer is to get both. one this year, and one another year. =)

I don't hate them but you can't compare them with AP

Let me put it in another way

I really like Rolex and Panerai but I f you ask me to choose between a Panerai or a Patek ....

It's your watch

Get the watch that makes YOU smile, not others. You are buying a watch and not a brand. Horologically, I agree that AP (Renaud & Papi) make some fantastic movements, but if the Hublot makes you smile, by all means get the watch you like.

I respect both AP and Hublot.

i think just because hublot is new compare to ap, people love ap. people love ap more in the internet, while others follow.

there are great brands such as breguet, vacheron constantine, richard mille, but people stick to commercial AP ROO, Omega, Panerai and Rolex, again and again.
