I quite like it, but it is not an overly popular model or hot seller. Most people prefer the classic models.

I'm not a fan of the two subdials for a DD function. I much prefer a date window and the day written out in another window. Now, the DD moonphase is a different story.

I absolutely love the watch. I have never seen it in real life however. Funny that I only see the same pic recurring, which is exactly the one you have posted. I believe there are a few extra pics laying around on TZ that I came across a while back.
I love the round displays, and the idea of the function as well; after trying the 15400 and 41mm Chronos, I just cannot commit to the idea of a 39 DD unless I learn whether or not AP will go on to do it in 41. Common sense says they would. To me, the 39mm chronos are nicer. But the H&Ms, i.e. 15300 vs 15400, I would go with 41. Thus the Day Date, and probably a Dual Time, will be very interesting in 41. -Unless of course they make the Skeleton in 41, we can all go home then haha!- PS: By the way the DD seems to be priced at a very reasonable, for AP's quality and the function, price. Seems to start around $13.5 before negotiations. |

It's a really great watch. It came out in 2010. The only bummer is you can't see the movement through the case back. A TRF seller had one on the site no long ago.

It is a 39 mm watch, but due to case and bracelet design it sits "not small" by todays standarts.
Changing day and date is just crazy though, you have to go back and forth between 21:30 and 2:00 to change both at the same time and only to 00:10 to change date. Basically not the most user friendly setup. But love the watch, you do not see it that often... |
