Service Costs

Going on from my welcome thread and finding out what Rolex I have

http://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=29765

I am looking for a ballpark figure on what this would cost to get it looking good again.

Needs glass, Dial hand and a service, not sure if the paint on the numbers can be replaced but suspect it would be better to leave it as is.

Watch keeps good time and just needs what I have listed above.

Any advice, comments?

Many Thanks

Todd

I think it would be best to leave the dial original as well.

I suspect that the diameter is a standard of the day and a crystal might not be as hard to find as a correct hand...

Good luck on this project..

$600 +

i just had my wifes Rolex services this year and that's how much it was. Replace crystal, service movement, finish the case and bracelet, and replace seals. Took about 1 month.

Also, when I sent my GMT Master II in for service it took 4 months! That was in 2001 though.

Service in the UK would be around £ 250.
