Why are not some of the seller here>>>>

using the phrase: Priced to stay? I guess that have been more honest in some ad's.

.....while every ding dong is trying to sell his 4yr old bike for $500 less than what a new "better" model sells for. i dont get it

Some of the sellers on TRF make me sick with their BS, but thankfully most of our members see through the nonsense. And the trusted sellers are the best.

hell of a point! humorous, but yeah, some of the prices on TRF have become, well, you'd be better off at an AD, better deal there!(never thought I'd say that here......)

If it takes nearly a year to sell something, you may need to revise your price.

For some reasons the ads with a used car salesman pitch usually doesn't get sold.

I'd say used Rolex's are very close to that of a discounted new from an AD...

yeah, there's some, umm, "aggressive" pricing out there, but, that doesn't bug me that much, as the market will sort that out.

i do, however, have a bit of a pet peeve with horrible, grainy, blurry, photography....please take some pride in what you're selling and don't assume a potential customer won't think you're trying to hide something.

also, selfishly, i like watch porn.

Glad you brought this up. I've noticed that the Rolex prices on this forum are the worst among the big watch boards.

It's always funny to read ads that are "priced to fly" but stick around for months, with many price adjustments before they actually sell.

Also, "rare" and "Rolex" shouldn't go together unless it's actually a scarce vintage piece --but some sellers think that modern Rolex models are uncommon.

There is a guy on TZ who is advertising his previous generation GMT/Sub as having list prices of the current generation models. What a pathetic tactic.

Funny thread! when every watch listed is "priced to sell" seems to lose some credibility. ...

However, i know ive had extremely fair deals with sellers here and i am very happy about that and anticipate a long relationship.

The FS section has turned into a bit of a phenomenon.

Such activity generates its own equilibrium.

Some watches will sell in an hour, others will attract no interest whatsoever, indefinitely.

Lots of factors involved.

Generally speaking, buyers and sellers seem happy enough with each other.

We get a little crap from both behind the scenes.

They kan both stick with Ebay, good riddance.
