Bracelet for 14060M Question
Hi,
I want to buy a used genuine bracelet for my 14060M. I'm completely new to Rolex bracelet serial/code systems. I have two questions I hope you can explain. Thanks for your patience. 1) Although the bracelet number, 93150, is correct, the endlink number is 580B, whereas mine is 501B. I assume that this will not fit? 2) Also, does the code on the clasp have to fit, or does it only indicate date of production? The used bracelet's code is ST4, whereas mine is FZ2. Again, thank you for any help. |

The 93150 is usually found on Subs. And they come with the 501B end links. The 580B was for the 78360 bracelet for a GMT.
The end links for the bracelets are extremely similar and fairly interchangeable but not exactly correct. On the clasp codes, unless you read them incorrectly, both are random codes so you won't be able to know when they were made - except both were made after 2010. Here's a reference for you: http://www.minus4plus6.com/numbers.htm#clasp

Great info, 77T. Thank you. So it sounds like this aftermarket, although incorrect, will fit my 14060M? The bracelet is from the 1970s. (Clasp might be more recent.)

Oops. I meant to write the endlinks of this used (1970s) bracelet is numbered 580... not 580B.
So, then, will 580 endlinks fit on a modern 14060M Sub? I appreciate any help from the more knowledgeable. Thanks a bunch. |

.
93150 was fitted with EL 580 on Sub 5513 up to 1989, and with EL 501B on 14060/14060M after that. As 14060/14060M always have lug holes, they're shouldn't be any issue to use both of these SEL. |
