hi,
My Question is: we all know the daytona got a triple lock master crown, and cuz of that it is a better water resistant, then other models without the triple lock, but what about the two other pushers? how do they water resistant? are they as much as the triple lock? tnx ahead for yours replies. Hi there, my understanding is no, and they can't be used under water either.

The Triplock crown is used on the Daytona for looks, balance, and mystique, not to increase it's water resistance or make it better in any way. The Twinlock crown is more than ample for water resistance and was used on the Sub when it was first introduced.. The Twinlock was also used in Rolex famous ad (crushed Oyster) and withstood 2,000 foot (610 meters) depths without failing.
The pushers use an internal o-ring and case gasket for sealing and are self-contained, just screwed into the case.. They cannot withstand the same pressure as the crown seals but are easily good for the 100 meter depth rating of the Daytona. These o-rings may deform if the pushers are pressed under water and so the locks on the pushers should be used when in the water to avoid their being pushed.. The locks themselves have no other function nor do they help with water resistance.
