Ceramic 116713!!!

My ceramic bezel fell off today? From looking at the pictures on how this bezel attaches it looks like there is a nylon ring. That holds this bezel on. All the other parts are missing as well looks like the only thing left is the detent ring.

What can I do I really don't want to send out to rolex. I do not have the extra money for the required service. They will want to do.

Thanks

Same thing happened to me on the same watch, there is no other option at all...
You most send to rolex to fix it, there is no way of finding that white plastic gasket that holds it in place.. However you could end up getting lucky and find a complete bezel for sale in eBay or here and use the rim from that.
That's what I did and I ended up selling just the bezel here on the forum!!
It was the cheaper way over sending to rolex!!!
Good luck and if you have any other ? Please feel free to send me a message..
I know it sucks trust me I had to deal with it my self.

Here is a link to one available now here..
http://rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=306504
You can get that one use the gasket and sell the bezel as a replacement for someone that has scratch theirs here on the forum or elsewhere!!
Ends up being the best way around it!

I was working in my shop and must of hit it. I was lucky enough to find the bezel. But the other parts are MIA. Now isn't there supposed to be a metal o-ring with the little nubbs on it for the tension?

Thanks for all your help.

That doesn't matter if its within the two year warranty period and as long as it was stamped by an AD. Good luck whatever you try to do.

Hey Steven, I'm minutes away from Tarpon. Let me know if you need a good local watchmaker (Rolex trained).

I wonder what made Rolex think it was a good ideal to use thin piece of Delron/nylon to hold this bezel on. Think they would of used another method.
