Irrational turn ons

What are your irrational turn ons? Things like bubble wrap are too easy.

I love the feeling of a brand new dvd or cd, Also taking the plastic off a dvd is great.
A new jar of instant coffee when you pop the foil lid.
Leaving the protective screen cover on a new phone for as long as possible.

We all have them.

For me its the smell of a brand new car, and the feeling of putting on a new piece of clothing after just cutting the tag!

I do the same thing, on the front of the phone (flip phone), inside screen and on the key pads! And what's even better is sliding it off, very very slowly when you can no longer keep them on!
I can't think of any others at the moment, but this is a really good one!

Popping open an ice cold can of Coca Cola on a really hot day. Freshly laundered sheets.

There's more I'm sure, but I'm not coming up with them right now!

The first dip into a brand new jar of peanut butter when it's all smooth on top.

I like to carve a shape in first then take it out in that shape.

Me too, I kind of made it up to tease my little brother when we were kids but I really like it.

I like the smell of shoe polish. Reminds me of my dad. I shine every pair of my shoes once a week, (except The Adidas' and New Balance.)

- The slender curve of a woman's lower back that resembles the shape of a crescent moon

- The way the cap on a 1.75 litre bottle of Beefeater crackles when you open it for the first time

- The sweet, painful ecstasy of that first stretch the morning after a tough work out

- The sight of nearly frozen Ketel One slowly oozing out of the bottle, over a lemon and on to the awaiting ice cubes

- Waking up in the morning and the first thing that hits you is the smell of sex still lingering in the air from the night before

I have many more but figured I'd only report the short list for now.

I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with anything that's actually "irrational." I love when my car is clean and shiny. When the dishwasher is empty. The smell of my kids' hair. My leather jacket. All very rational, really... well, my watch. My watch is an irrational turn on.Though on TRF, that's pretty much a given and not irrational at all!

Drinking my first cup of coffee sitting in the yard, watching the ocean; the smooth mist of a brand new day, calm sea and a rising sun.

...the first puff on a cuban cigar.

and most of all, the laughter of my kids; that makes me smile and feel alive, taking away all problems.
