26400RO - 26210OM - 26568OI prices
Hello,
Why is the retail price of the Michael Schumacher Gold version so much higher then the new ROOS 44mm Gold and the LeBron James model? LeBron: 51,200$ retail price 44mm: 46,500$ retail price Schumacher: 75,000$ retail price Thank you for your help. Moshe. |

Because it's that much more desirable.
500 vs 600 pieces (even though I have no clue who the 600 people are that are going to buy the LBJ). To me I'd rather even have a Schumi Ti than a LBJ, no matter the price. Just my |

As Paul said, it is all about supply and demand. F1 is more for upper class audiences, and Schumacher is very reputable racer!

RG Novelty does seem very good value compared to those, esp since the price drop.

Schumacher is an LE and much more desirable/better looking than Lebron. If you don't want to pay $75K then go for the 44RG.

Thank you for your reply,
Still, I think the main reason for that, is when they brought out the Schumi It was before they changed the prices on gold watches (price drop). they didn't want to change the price of the Schumi for the obvious reasons (its a LE, etc..) The retail price for a watch will never determined by desirable/looking! You can sell it for as much as you like, but the retail price will always be determined by the movement of the watch, and the materials. |

The reason is basically what "Master17" alluded to.
The Schumacher was released right before the AP price decrease. They didn't want to reduce that one because so many people had bought at full retail through Boutiques. Now, that the price decrease is carried out the Lebron LE was priced accordingly. I wish the Schumacher was more inline with the Lebron :) |
