I love the look of the watch but the complication is so unique do the only folks that buy his watch sail or do folks buy it for the uniqueness of the complication but not sail? Have you found other purposes for it?

I prefer to play under the water myself, but absolutely love the aesthetics of the YMII!!

As for the complication, I really don't use it for any particular purpose... Just like most Dive watches never see water, most Daytona's will not time or sync races, and most GMT's were not purchased for their ability to provide a second time zone. It's all about the connection of the piece entirely, and less about the designated function IMO!

Is say 90% of tool watches are not used for their purpose, i.e. Diving, exploring(I don't know what that means!) or flying , yacht etc. I say buy what you find attesctive and what fits your wrist. Some goodness ale value won't hurt

Phone…me neither. I was looking at a Sea Dweller at Watchfinder and one of the sales guys asked me if I was a diver.

I started laughing…I said no…but I like the look..LOL

Great for grilling steaks...you can program the timer to time increments between 1 to 10 minutes, pretty useful really.

I've used the countdown timer quite a lot already. I do in fact know how to sail (haven't done it in years) but I don't think that's a requirement for owning such an interesting complication.
