I'm a lucky boy - again!! (15400 Content)

Well, my "significant" birthday finally arrived - and so the safe was opened and my darling wife finally allowed me access to the fabulous present she bought for me now almost 6 months ago in preparation for today!

It doesn't get much better than this! Enjoying a fabulous trip with my wonderful wife and an amazing new piece to add to the collection - a collection which is actually diminishing as I pare down to just a few really special pieces - a Messi, this wonderful new 15400, an Explorer II , and a Tanatlium Panerai. Not a bad collection I think, and a good place to "stick". I'm both a lucky and a happy man.

Happy New Year to all!

Great watch and Happy Birthday!
Blue or black? Hard to tell from that pic with the way that lighting plays tricks on the 15400 dials.

Yep, beautiful blue dial - probably one of the last available at an AD instead of Boutique. Absolutely love it!

And thanks everyone for the nice comments and wishes - yes, my wife is very special - I am indeed a very lucky fella!

But we are actually living overseas - and currently visiting South Africa which is I think one of the most beautiful countries in the world! Again, I am very lucky.

Happy NewYear to all,

Congrates man. But maybe its jus the angle but i tht the bezel screws were smaller, the markers slimmer and also theres a spacing laser etched between the A and P for the 15400.

Anyway enjoy...

Then it's either the angle, the poor quality iPhone photo or just the way you are looking at it. Believe me, if you are suggesting what I think you are suggesting, you are very sorely mistaken. It came from one of the most reputable ADs in the UK.

Anyway, Happy New Year...

I was lucky to get the last one from Preston's in Wilmslow before they terminated their AD status with AP. It was a shame - particularly for me, but I understand their decision. They now specialise only in Patek and Rolex.

Congrats! I was also looking for an AD in the UK! Did you get a discount?

Contact Wights watches, Darren is the best AP dealer in the UK. And he can meet you in London.
