The strap game has begun....
when i came to the dark side, i was aware that buying straps maybe a bad habit. i told myself i should not buy extra strap at one point. but on the same day i made the purchase of my first pam, i've already ordered the rubber strap and deploy buckle. and then after 2 weeks, my itch made me uncontrollably browsing through all strap vendors for a few days straight. ended up i made the first handmade strap order from Drew, Europelli. after a month of waiting, my strap finally delivered yesterday. Amazing is all i can say.
it is the Antique Maduro Calfskin from 1966. compare to the oem rubber and the stainless band came with the watch, this vintage strap really brings out a whole new character of the watch. love it! i guess this is going to be my new hobby now. sorry about the big size picture, too lazy to resize them :p |

Very nice, i got myself 4 aftermarket straps, 2 of them waterproof leather, so appart from the rubber ones I have 5 nice ones, the alligator that comes with the 82 is really nice, the 233 and 28 OEM are really shit, anyways it seems to do it for me, don't have any desire or intention to buy any more

Looks great!
It gets worse (lots and lots of straps) before it gets better (you find the ones you really like). |

couple updates through the year...
traded the 050 to a 392. and bought a gator strap from Mican, which is a very nice strap. then in the meanwhile, surprised the wife a IWC as her bday gift, as usual, got her a nice strap from Drew, and then i saw the review from Paneraicentral and gave this Stoner strap a try from Pulcher, this Stoner is amazing! love the color! Wife's on the Horween Natural Chromexcel from Drew, as always, Drew's craftsmanship is unbeatable! 392 on the 1966 Antique Maduro (my all time favorite) the latest Stoner from Pulcher, unbelievable amazing color! |

Nice mate...
I think the Fiddy styled case offers more options than the Bettarini type case... But of course that in turn means more expense as the eye wanders... :) |
