Newbie please help.
Hi guys,
As the title, im a complete newbie to watch world. After doing research for a while, i narrow down some of these models that i find on chrono that fit my taste and my budget: http://www.chrono24.com/en/audemarsp...-id2643180.htm http://www.chrono24.com/en/audemarsp...m&watchTypes=U http://www.chrono24.com/en/audemarsp...=2&tab=details My question is: how do i avoid a scam and get what i pay for? 10.000-12.000 is a lot of money to me after all. How can i be sure that after i make a payment, the seller will ship it to me? What can i do if the watch arrive not as describle or not working probly? Or in worst case, it is a fake watch? Also, please be kind and give me as many advice as possible as im totally naive about watch. Thank you in advance. |

As many will state here buy the seller not the watch. I have purchased watches from DavidSW. Take a look at the who's/ who section. I say PM David and tell him your wants and he will find it for you. Happy hunting and welcome to TRF

Go with DavidSW man. You will get a good deal on the watch and a great deal of peace of mind.

I've never dealt on chrono 24 but the big thing is to buy from sellers with the best reputation. You want loads and loads of positive feedback, recent positive feedback. Also a no questions return policy within 1 day or 2 of sale is comforting.
There are a handful of sellers here with sterling reputations, there are also a bunch on eBay. I myself buy from the forums via bank wire to minimize cost, as I trust a handful of sellers here enough to wire them 10-12k without worrying about it. And yes, it's a lot of money to me as well. |
