Does Patek come next?

I have my dream team with the 116610LV and the 116718LN as well as a 1954 Gold Omega. I think a 5711 would be a great addition. Is it hearty enough for daily, or near daily, wear? Should I just leave my collection where it is? It is calling to me

The 5711 is my grail watch, so i would say go for it. However, i would sell the two Rolexes and get a Calatrava, which makes an excellent partner for the Nautilus

Cannot part with either Rolex. Already sold my DJ and cannot go through that trauma again, HaHa. The Omega won't cut it either. Either save or win the Lotto!
Love the the Calatrava, nevertheless. Great Suggestion. Thanks.

Don't listen to this guy , he clearly works for Omega.

Save for the 5711 it will make a perfect addition to your collection. Maybe sell the LVc later on if it helps you get there quicker.

Your collection is spectacular. I can only hope to get within an area code of it!!!
I still am grateful that you turned me on to the 116718!

I woke up in the morning the other day looked at my wrist and realized this watch had become a LUMINOX - I called out sick and went back to sleep.

Love this picture

To the OP, a Patek is on a whole new level compared to most Rolex and the Nautilus 5711 is one of the most iconic of watches. If you have the funds, go for it.

Save up and go for it! If everyone could buy every single watch they wanted immediately this would be a lot less fun.

Add the Patek if you can.
Would go great with what you currently have (or on it's own for that matter).
For me, nothing is better than Rolex for daily though. The Patek can handle it, but there is a much more delicate feel on the wrist (that's not a bad thing).

It was for me.

I sold three last year and have never looked back, I wear my 5711 more than all of my other watches combined and I am thinking about selling more pieces that I am not wearing.

Thank you very much. That's a delightful read and a true " love letter " to a spectacular watch. My plan, for now, is to go slow and follow TRF for the right deal. I wish that patience were a virtue that I possess.
Could see flipping the SubC as part of the plan, but never the YG GMT.

i find the calaltrava and complication pateks to be very fragile but gorgeous and elegant, whereas the Nautlius, in pictures, looks great, but on my wrist, felt unbalanced with an uncomfortable bracelet. bottom line is try everything on in person several times.

Buy what you like. Remember a PP is a more fussy watch than what your use to so it will cost more in maintance.
