Prices
These prices look wonderful compared to today's listings.
But heaven knows what the average salary was in 1978! £520 quid for a Sea-Dweller!..........'time machine' anyone? |

My first job, pre uni, gave me £25 per week in 1980.
9 months to fund a Rolex, very spensiv. Still only get £25 a week modsalary but those free Rolex watches come in handy. |

Have to agree my first job £3 a week and when I got married first was earning less than £20 a week and my mortgage then was £10 month. But unlike you no mod salary, and as for free Rolex watches well those days are long gone. And if my memory is right they have never happened unless some of my colleagues are working a fast one on this now quite poor now mature Welsh guy..
