Lusting for TT

Up to this point, I've only worn steel watches from a variety of brands. I love the look of a full gold piece, but it's just not my style, though I'm sure it will be one day. I've decided that my next watch will be two toned. I probably won't purchase till later in the year, but I want to get your opinion on which two toned watch I should pursue:

116613 LB
116613 LN
116713
116523

Right now I'm leaning towards the bluesy because I've enjoyed owning a 14060M and 116610 LV, but I'm not sure yet if I should change it up.

Thanks,

Edward

16613 ,,,, cleaner lines , bluesey face ,,, later sel and gold through clasp version ,,, hard to beat , and as some folk dont appreciate them , some stunning deals to be had.
just a thought.

I would, but the older style oyster bracelet clasp does not sit center on my 6.5" wrist. With my 14060 I removed one of the permanent links to get it to sit centered. After owning the Hulk, I've decided that the newer models just look better on my wrist. They have an extra removable link, and the new clasp is just leaps and bounds over the old tinny one.

cant argue ,,, but they are no where near as elegant as the older classic ,, always just do a clasp swap ,, but they are expensive ,,, have a couple of 16613s , a black and a blue ,, one with lug holes and a black dial , no gold through clasp , the other a blue no holes sel with gold through the clasp oh , and ym hands ,, depends on the day as to which i like best.
i like tt watches though ,,, good hunting , look forwards to seeing the pics.

Hard to believe you couldnt get the 16613 to fit you. A Rolex authorized watchmaker, not an AD, would have adjusted it perfectly. That's what did. The sleeker profile of the 16613 makes for a classier look IMO and is better in the TT variant than the newer Ceramics.

I was never really a fan of two tone, but I have to admit that now that I have one, I absolutely love it.

I'd pick the Panda Daytona. I prefer the GMTc as full gold.

That is my baby. One of the few TT watches I like although I am not sure how I feel about the way that one has all its hands changed to red.

The new TT Sub with the sunburst dial or the TT GMTIIC. The latter wears differently as it is a bit thinner and sits more flat on the wrist, and the lugs are just a tad less maxi.

Totally agree, U serial bought new on Jan 29 1999 and still the best looking dial I've ever seen. Sure I wished it had SEL and gold thru the clasp but I still love the lug holes and its 15 years old and I'm still twitterpated with it! On a Rubber B but it still show's that sweet dial...

All are excellent choices. If you think you may be interested in a blue dial watch, I'd check out the 116523 with the blue Arabic dial. It's a stunning watch and having a Daytona would add some variety to your collection.

I agree the red hands work well on the WG but the gold hands look better on the TT.

I only flipped my 16613 for the full gold. GMT II also looks the goods if blue isn't your thing.
I did find the same issue as you did with the old models clasp as well, it needed a half link.
