I used to be a Racist

That's right. I have to now admit that I hide this terrible fault from everyone. Up until yesterday I did not like to be around SS sport watches. Yes, I have a SS Sub, but I was in denial about my true inner feelings. Well that all has changed. I received my Z seriel Explorer II (Black Face) yesterday and I really like the watch. Not because it is new; to me, but because of the look and feel. I am forever a changed man. All BS aside....if you have not looked at the Explorer II; you should. If you don't dive, then the Explorer II is a nice combination of the GMT II and SS Sub. Plus you get the Red 24 hour hand and a choice of dial color. To those who post about how nice the Explorer II is; I am truly sorry it took so long to see the light.

Your new born friend. BUBBA.

I tell the wife that all she needs to do is scratch me behind the ears every once in a while. You are right about learning. Two JUB GMTs, one being a "Root Beer", and now an Explorer II. Man have I changed from being a TT Oyster Bracelet guy only.

I never knew you were Russian!

Joe, when I opened this thread, I thought it was going to be about blue versus black. Welcome to the world of SS (say, weren't they racists too?)!

I'm not saying who, but some bloody wanker (yes I'm Irish. I just never told anybody. Yes, I know about the history of NZ) does not have house numbers on their door and I am too busy explaining to FED X that a REAL person does live in a house without numbers. Might have to get our my row boat and come over and settle this little matter.

Wanker in this case is the original meaning which came about in the '40s. Hint...go wax your surfboard 'ya tosser.

Hey, tosser....give the workers a break. They had to slap on another coat of paint on the main door, so they had taken off the numbers of all the units in our block.

The numbers are back on now!!

Back home in Leicestershire we give our sheep farmers Wellies as gifts.
They give them a convenient way to hold the sheeps back legs....

I have to say......I tried a white dial on the other day and I wasn't that impressed.... Sorry...I still have my heart set on a Pepsi GMT now.

Tough decision I have....don't really have the funds right now, and kind of lost my love of my Breitling (now that I have a Rollie). I'm not one to "flip" watches, but have been giving it some serious thought lately......i.e. price increase, discontined model, poss ceramic Pepsi GMT IIc....ect........................................ .................................................. .................

Kurt - I see quite a few Pepsi's in the For Sale forum, really good deals. Don't know if you've checked them out yet. As a fellow owner, you can't beat the classic look. Good luck.

If that was a reward for good behaviour, no wonder you had to wait such a long time to get it.
