Very wise, very true.

On the other hand, I just posted in the other thread and remain sorry to hear the news, necessary as the sale was. But now, after seeing those fantastic pics, I am compelled to vote you need another TT blue- they just suit your stellar, vivid personality all too well!!!

Exercise your great patience and wait 'till the vultures have their supper, then let 'er rip! It won't be long now, better things comming into range cap'n!

If my circumstances change where I need to fund other things, I suppose my watches are probably one of the first things that would go. I'm sure it won't be long JJ before something else arrives when finances improve

I ain't JJ. First the wife, then the kids, then the college funds, then the strippers and then maybe the watches.

Bluesy was a watch with so much character, I am gonna really miss that TT Sub. It had so much history in this forum that I'll never forget. I'm sure its in good hands and that its new owner is so happy.

Son of bluesy

When you get your new replacement bluesy, you will enjoy it even more than the original, because you will be whole again. Sell the platty and get the new bluesy. And next time you try to do something like this, please consult us....your real watch family!!!!

It went for the right reasons mate
In the grand scheme of things it is only a watch there are a million others just the same if you can ever afford to replace it.
Your home and beautiful family are more important than a watch or any other thing for that matter.
Good luck in your newly refurbed home (no decorating for a while you lucky man!!).

May I just ask though, why have you got to pay for the work?
Is there no way you can claim on your buildings insurance?
Cheers,

Mark.
