Tudor 75090 Submariner Service Question

Putting Originality aside.

Can the blue dial and blue insert on a mid size Tudor 75090 Submariner from the early 90's be changed out to black service dial and insert at RSC still or will they only replace with original colour?

Keep in mind your blue dial is worth a lot. Better to find a nice matte dial and make some money on it. Just an alternative.

agreed, blue is worth way more. It took me a year to find a bezel insert for my 79090, when I did I bought 2 of them.....small fortune

Very few RSCs will surrender the old parts to you. (Which in my mind is really a fraudulent scandal).

But you could go to somebody else of course (See "Who is Who" thread). So if you want it black you can always change it back. Personally I like black better too but because of the value I'd make sure I'd keep the blue parts.

Ok guys thanks.
I just wasn't sure if RSC still did dial and insert replacements for the 90's smaller 37mm cousin to the full size 79090 sub.
I suspect I am going to have to get a service done on whatever I locate being Blue or Black the latter being my wife's preference. She wants to be able to wear it pool etc treat it as it meant to be worn not have to worry how old the seals are.
