Grail Watch Poll Smurf vs DayDate 36mm in YG

Might as well get the forums opinion on it. Unfortunately the finances will only allow for one of the two and they're both very different. So have at it.

This is the one I chose:)
As far as DDs are concerned I am more a fan of the 41mm DDII.

I think the YG sub is more versatile, it really in my opinion is one of the perfect if I could have only one watch watch!

Just curious...did you mean WG or YG Sub?

I find the WG Sub to be the most perfect Rolex I have ever owned and it could easily serve as a one-and-only for me as well.

This poll will likely be a slam dunk for the sub. DDII would make it closer I think.

At 28 years old the sub is it for me, when I'm older that may change but I doubt it

36 mm DD is the watch I've wanted for a while - no question in my mind.

So very different and not really two I would ever look at for a one vs the other. With that said I would take a 116619 all day long and did! Cheers,

The DD for me.

I mean the Smurf is a nice watch but it's bright blue which doesn't exactly scream versaility for me.

The YG DD is an awesome watch and while the smurf rightly has a lot of fans here, it's no DD.

Sub. The LB is damn near iconic status now, TRF'ers 60 years down the road will be talking about a super titanium platinum blue sub the same way we talk about the BLRO today

Very different. It would help if we knew what you have in your collection, and are you looking for a dress or a sports watch.
