thing he did not mention in his review that the dial was as white as his sheep!

Why does everyone like the white so much. That black dial with the white gold markers and hands is just cool. I think it beats the black on white hands and markers.

i think black makes the watch more subtle, but the white brings out the life in the expyII.

I agree, its like picturing 2 cars on the road in the middle of the night. One is white, the other black. The white is easier to see as the black car almost disappears without enough light. Black to me is generally more subtle, though I love it as a color for clothes and cars.

I always like the Explorer II for its option of the white dial, something the GMT and Sub don't have. Plus its within my price range at the moment as a Daytona and TT/YG YM are the only other white dial professional options but out of my range for now.

Here's my newest, I love having the option of wearing a white dialed watch. I alway's wear black dialed watches so it is a great change. I have not had a white dialed watch for a few years, my newest will be here tomorrow. UPS actually called today to say they will be here tomorrow with this beauty....I can't wait.

You guys are killing me. I still haven't even laid eyes on this beauty. All I have are a few precious photos to hold me over for a few more weeks.

And the photos aren't that great. Wish I could do better. (But the pic from the Rolex website is pretty cool.)
