Leather strap for a 35mm Yacht Master I
Hey guys,
My sister has just bought one in white dial, and she prefers to wear it on a leather strap. We've been looking for one and it seems that quality ones are available only in 18mm smallest. Would a 18mm fit right in between the lugs? Thanks! |

Not sure how much that will help you if at all but gives you an idea of sizing at least. |

78743 or 78753 bracelets came on TT midsize Yachtmasters, I believe, which is indeed 17mm. There are plenty of strap makers who will custom make you whatever you like; you should be able to get the size you need no problem.

So is it safe to say that she should get one custom-made instead of going for the 18mm? |

Depending on the strap, an 18mm squished in there could actually look great. It's not impossible to find a decent 17mm shell Cordovan strap without custom ordering, though.

BTW, since there's an RSC in Jakarta, you could probably just walk in and buy a 17mm leather Rolex strap and have them install it. RSC NY was happy to sell me a new leather strap for an Air King, even though the Air King doesn't come on leather. Plus that way you get a Rolex buckle.
