There is a local italian restaurant, actually about 6 or more, they all use different names. The owner has the midas touch... Check out the video blog, its all about the romance and authenticity of great old world style home cooking, i found it very interesting, i suspect many of you will as well, reminds me of the Hodinkee goldberg interview

Ps of course if your here visiting nyc, stop by franks restaurant (i have no affiliation except the enjoyment of food done right)

Pps ill be heading there for brunch, opens at 11:)

Sauce is pretty good. Good food and very cool vibe.

The food is good but it's more Italian American than Italian
