Undecided as to which model...
Hi all, thought as I'm new to the world of Rolex, and in the midst of deciding which model to go for, I should join the forum.
Currently I sport an IWC Ingenieurm I'm contemokating selling/trading it toward the purchase of a Rolex... But which do I choose? The Day Date 116210 bi metal? 11610? or the LV variant? the Seadweller? GMT 2 or the Exp 2? Oh I just can't decide... So far I think the forum is going to be invaluable to me in both deciding which to buy as well as just generally having a good chat about them. Have a great weekend everyone. Also message if you'd like my Inge haha Phil |

Welcome Phil:
There are many fine Rolex watches to choose from. I have a couple of them but my favorite is the TT GMT-Master II c that sports the new ceramic bezel. I also have a SS Date Submariner that I wear for my weekend and play watch. Have a look at the reviews and galleries to be able to help with your decision making process. You also have the opportunity to maybe buy a used Rolex here. You have a fine watch already and might be able to hang on to it if the right deal comes along. Welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay. Terry Newton

Welcome to TRF!
Can't wait for pics of the Rolex you get. Luckily, whatever you choose, you'd get a winner...

Morning Everyone,
I thought I'd narrowed down the selection process, however as fast as I have, I've been looking at the YM, my my... I used to be indecisive, I'm just not sure anymore... So I think next weekend I'll be popping into my local AD, if they have either a Sub, Exp2, GMT2 or YM... I'm gonna buy one there and then... Some of my firneds think I've almost gone around things horologically backwards, starting out with IWC's... perhaps I have, but in learning more about Rolex and admiring some of my friends Subs & YM's... Time to just put some money on the counter and join the club. Thanks everyone for the replies, and to those who've written reviews too... I used to visit the IWC forum quite a bit, but have to say, in my opinion, this is a far better 'home' to be. thanks again guys, I'll post what I end up purchasing at the weekend too! Phil |
