You don't need no stinking winder

Seriously, I don't get it. If this is your daily wearer, what do you think you need a winder for? Even if it isn't we could debate the need but if you are wearing the watch everyday I just see no reason to buy a winder.

It's my weekend watch, I don't wear it to work.

Seems a shame to wear that beauty just on the weekend. No way you see yourself wearing it more often, thus negating the need for a winder? [fyi: I don't have a winder myself so I can't suggest a brand/maker].

+1 you don't wear a Rolex to work when you're surrounded by haters. In fact, let me expand this: no nice car or clothes either.

Come on guys. He asked for brand recommendations - not for you to come in here and question him. The fact that he is asking what to get means that he has already independently made the decision to buy one - so your posts aren't constructive.

I have a Wolf Roadster double winder and love it. Looks great and is silent - only downside is it is kind of large. I'd highly recommend it.

Thank you for saying that. I was going to write a comment and stopped. People are here for answers to their questions.

Eilux. They also make a single watch and a triple. I absolutely love mine and keep both Subs on it when not on wrist.

The AD's had a rolex branded wonder a couple years ago. They were pricey. $1000+ if I remember correctly. My local AD has one on the counter that has been collecting dust for 3-4 years. If you want I can pm you their info but wolf or orbita will be much cheaper and probably as good or better. I was just making a funny.

I got a beautiful winder from Ace Timer. Rosewood box, glass window. Like it a lot. Winds 4 watches, storage for 5 more.

I own a Wolf 2-watch, and the D-cell batteries last for several months. Prior to that I bought a Diplomat brand that was an absolute piece of shit. It ran on AA cells and lasted a week at a time. Got tired of that real quick.

The only winder I could ever recommend for any Rolex watch is first the wrist, second the winding crown which all Rolex watches still have.

I don't use winders anymore.
I used to use multiple Wolf winders for years and never had an issue.

I have a Wolf Viceroy single watch winder. They go for about $200 and meet my single requirement which is quiet.

I love the look of finished carbon fiber so I would like to get an Orbita Avanti 3, but they are very expensive and funds do not permit at the moment.
