Greetings from Thailand
Hi Everyone
I'm happy to meet all of you. I'm ready to learn something from here. Now I miss my watch. I sent it back to Rolex to overhaul just today. Yours Andrew |

This is a GREAT site!
No excuses- you sent your Rolex out to be serviced.
6-8 weeks it will be back. 1-2 weeks you get the shivers and ROLEX withdrawal. You'll pass a dealer, search ebay for similar watches, come here and chat. At 3-4 weeks you are rubbing your wrist feeling for that Rolex but still not there. You begin making the calls to the Service Center and they reply "it is still being evaluated" OR "we have it but have not assigned it to a technician". NOW YOU BEGIN TO LOSE IT. You talk yourself into purchasing another model to "get you through" and then come up with a million excuses to make the purchase, regardless of payment plans and interest rates. You are fully hooked now. Week 5 you decide on a model and make that purchase. Now the real demons come out of your closet. You have to still wait for the original Rolex and the new one to arrive. Two sets of phone calls begin 1 to the Rolex service center (daily now) and one to the guy on flebay with a (3) rating who sent you [hopefully] that $5000 watch. Sleepless nights, more phone calls and then you get home from work at week to find not one, but two packages. Now the real headache begins, which to where and when..... Enjoy this place! Many wonderful people to answer ALL your questions. I love it!! |

Good Morning Andrew, from Michigan, USA. I think you need to get another watch so you can avoid withdrawals while waiting for your baby to come back to you. Look in the for sale section and someone will get you hooked up. Welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay here.
