Hi Folks, newbie from Dorset UK here 😊
Hey there....
I was given my first Rolex a while back (my 30th) by my father who has since passed. It was his 1968 GMT Master, one I always saw him carry on his wrist be it at work or holiday. I've loved the watch, it's aging patina and the worn elements that make it so familiar as the watch dad wore. Recently though with all my camping, watersports etc and as a watch I like to wear frequently to, it's lack of luminosity (gone now) has been bugging me. I will never p-ex this watch (it means to much to me!), but am looking for another Rolex to become my daily wearer. I'm looking at the DS4K as I have a big wrist and feel it would suit better with a bit more height than the SubC. Is it worth the extra £££? I feel privileged to own one, can afford another (just) but no doubt this may be my last opportunity for a quality sports watch. Cheers for any advice.... GreyBeard |
