It is that time of the month

You're right; thanks for the reminder. More like that time of year since it doesn't happen every month.

Don't really mind, actually don't care. Annual calendar doesn't appeal to me but I do understand their place, maybe if I was John Mayer....

In any case I like when the month is short, because if I haven't traveled across timezones it gives me a checkpoint for interacting with my watch and give the mainspring a full charge along with checking the date mechanism, as well as actuating the crown, etc.. In the military we called this PMCS, pre maintenance checks and services.

My immediate solution is the new Seamaster Master Co-Axial with no date, an 114060 is also possible and a Daytona would be icing on the cake.

Totally agree Rashid, I like to stop and stare now and then to spend time with my baby and change the date, wind, etc....

True - date change today it is. Have a BLNR too. I'm traveling - so didn't have owners manual with me. I remembered instructions to move crown out to 2nd position (I think) and advance only hour hand forward and date will change accordingly. That worked!! Not at all unhappy with that.

My wife simply hates the first day after a short month, it drives her nuts to change the date on her ladies models.

I find it no big deal but I derive ***zero*** pleasure having to do it.

It is that time of the month

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"When I have to change the date..."

I thought you were referring to a different time of the month and you were going to air some dirty laundry...

I enjoy the end of the month date adjustment!
