Would you .....?

Evening All

Despite selling a deepsea a couple of years back, the yearn for another is great.

So would you part with a Red Sub, hardly ever worn these days, to satisfy this wish?

Thoughts and views appreciated!!

The Red Sub is such a classic I don't think I could let it go! I would wait and save for the new watch and keep your Red Sub!

I love the Deepsea and modern line more in general. I even bought a Deepsea before any vintage watch.....but in this case depending on the condition of that Red Sub...Hell no.

No, especially if it is in very good shape.
Newer is not always better... But if you don't care for it, make sure to find the 1680 a good home!!

What if you then yearn for the Red Sub and want that back... not as easy to replace.

I would, but I like all the updates like the ceramic bezel, solid links, and the great clasp just to mention a few. Plus you hardly wear it.

Why aren't you wearing the red? Unless you have a very good reason I would sell it for the watch you will wear or what's a heaven/catalogue for?

Like most so far, I wouldn't even consider giving up a red Sub for a DSSD

Why don't you wear the Sub? If to preserve condition then screw that and start wearing. If it just doesn't appeal, then go for the sale and get deep sea.

as a collector i'd keep the red sub in a drawer til death.

as a sane person, i'd get what i'd use or just wear the red sub (but i'd also confirm its a real red sub before waiting decades to find out it may not be).

good luck.

Go back and re-visit why you sold the Deepsea in the first place.

I wouldn't own a DSSD so, no, I wouldn't. Follow your own path.

No way, especially since you have a
Ready had it and sold it in the past. I'm be worried history would repeat itself and then you'd be without the red sub.
