Great choice... the 16700 is getting more and more discovered. Nice pair with your SD.

Thanks for the reminder of that thread Patrick, good to re-read again.

So mine is an E series, so what do people think about the rarity for the 16700? Has it really become a sort after watch? What are current prices for these? Just interested really, but I will never sell mine.

It's not rare by any means, but prices do seem to be keeping up with the 16710, or at least not far behind. If you want to go "rare" with the 16700, look for a very early one (open 6 and 9) or very late (luminova). I assume the OP's watch didn't come with that box, as it's 2005+.

I don't follow those prices much, but all the 16 GMT's are getting a little more desirable every day. Prices for NIB 16710's are unreal now.

Congrats! Mark, I'm glad you kept your SD as well, they make a nice pair.
Wear them both, wear them often and wear them in good health.

Cheers M. A ! Appreciate your input the other day. I met with Springer (John) last Friday and he has helped me source a Jubilee and Coke bezel insert to switch it up. Pictures to follow.

All the best!

I was going to point to that thread. Really a very useful thread with great information. I thoroughly enjoy my 16700. They are lovely watches.

Here's mine to say "hello." It's an E series.
