Oyster 97200 bracelet authenticity question

Hi fellow Rolex enthusiasts, please could you give your expert advice on authenticating the bracelet from my "G" serial SubC..I had taken it off to wear my watch on a Nato and in my mind it is a 100% correct bracelet but yesterday a contact of mine put doubt on its authenticity, as it was compared to a brand new 2014 97200 bracelet and there were noticeable differences in the font used in the stamps into the metal and the reference number on inside of solid end link on my bracelet seems to be "lazer etched", whilst on the more modern bracelet, the same number is "stamped" into the endlink. I know myself that year to year, Rolex uses differing manufacturing processes and there are always little differences..I'm right about ths yes?
Thanks for your input forum members!
