Working with my explorer on some fire pits

It's going to be cold in Houston tonight and had to keep my family from out of town warm. According to my polar took 20 min. To make

I guess it's safe to wear an Exp II while cutting a barrel in half to use as a firepit for the out of town relatives!

Is it safe to wear while you split some logs too?
