What to get next? Rolex sports model or others?

My last couple purchases have been dress watches on a leather strap so I think its time for something sporty again.
There are really 3 watches that have my interest at the moment.

After hating the look of the Yachtmaster II for years I find myself falling in love with the steel reference. The Blue bezel, hands and Polished center links seem like perfection to me. The only thing is I have never owned a watch larger than 42mm with my current largest watch the New model Ulysse Nardin Dual time ( i think thats 42mm) Will 44mm kill it for me? I am currently wearing a 39mm PP 5146R at the moment.

This watch is also one that I disliked upon first looks but have grown to love.
I have tried it on and it does sit well on my wrist. The new ROO seem to not get much love at the moment.
PIC on my actual wrist:

Lastly Do i stay with PP and get the Aqua to complement my 5146?
I want to eventually get a 5711 blue but right now I prefer to stay under 20k.
I do think this is a great looking watch but perhaps I want something a little more flashy for a sports model.

Last but not least do i just forgo it all and keep my eye on the prize and put toward the Up/Down i so dearly want in the future???
Right now I am enamored by the YMII and the only thing that scares me is 44mm, I guess only one way to find out is to try it on.
Either way the thought process up to the purchase is sometimes the most fun.

You have a great collection already - congrats. Of the potential new ones, the ALS is amazing...

Thank you very much, you have some beautiful watches as well
The ALS is a must have for me..eventually; however I tread carefully at that price point as depreciation can bring a tear to my eye even though I generally do not sell watches. I have been patiently waiting for the prices to come down in the used market (and they have slightly). With the new release of the rose gold model I am curious to see if this pulls the platty down even more. Currently the new release rose model retail sits around the same price as a used platinum.

Aqua is an awesome watch, I am just worried that if I pick up a 5711 down the road with the same movement and function if it will feel redundant to me.

I am currently leaning towards YMII and then taking a long break and looking towards AL&S Chrono bliss. Still undecided however.

Good thinking, have you put your name on an AD waiting list for the 5711?
It seems AD is the way to go with this model since there is really no discount in the grey area.

It's early days for me still, between this and the 5167, but probably the Nautilus.

The ymII is a substantial watch, I'm a fan for sure. The Lange is just a beauty.

YM II, my fave watch
Yes,it wears bigger than DJ II which is 41 MM but it is very comfy too. It weights 179 grams full link.

I just recently bought the YMII and , love it. As far as it being too big, I Really think you will be fine, it wears very very comfortably. It is a substantial watch but it wears lighter than my DSSD. I am in awe of all its different colors, the blue bezel with its polished steel teeth make it glitter. The white face along with its blue hands and red chrono seconds hand and regatta timer really come together well. I love this watch and is a great addition to your already fabulous collection. Go for it, was in the same thought process for some time and I don't regret spending that kind of coin for a SS.

Yes I wholeheartedly agree I just dont mind waiting a little longer as my Royal Oak ticks that box in a sense for now.
