I have been to Norway several times with business. I have no personal recommendations regarding clubs, bars etc but please be aware that the country can be very expensive (food, alcohol, hotels etc).
Luckily it is also incredibly scenic. Good luck and I hope you enjoy your break. |

Bergen is an awesome town, and my wife has family there. There is a water-front district with most of the things you'll want to see. It has a fish market where the fisherman sell what they catch that morning, shopping, and a few museums. The Bergenhus Fortress is also right there, which was my favorite historic sight.
The best part of the trip was when we went into fjord country. Without a doubt, it was the most beautiful terrain and country that I've ever seen. I would really recommend planning on doing some sight seeing on your way between Oslo and Bergen. And as others have said, Norway is terribly expensive. My father-in-law is a local, so we were paying regular Norwegian prices for everything as opposed to tourist prices and I was still shocked. |

In Oslo you should really visit the National Gallery, Munch is waiting for you. In the summer a trip on the fjord is a must, in this season in not sure they even organize one. The port area is full of life in the summer nights. I loved very much the trip from Oslo to Bergen by car, the nature is amazing and the fjord sights are breathtaking. In Bergen I suggest a walk in the old port (it's called Bruggen if memory serves, so many years...) and a tour with the cable car to the top of the mountain that overlooks the city.
Edit: it seems that I should have read the post above mine before answering :) |

Having family in Oslo we have never stayed anywhere but with them. I also recommend Munch statue park. I would visit the Vikings museum and see Kon tiki. Bergen is beautiful however have no recommendations
